gray Erlo

In the first months of 2016, the expected launch of a collection of songs under the title of “erlo”. It will be his fourth album of his career. "Erlo" has just been mastered in London, under the direction of John Davis (producer of works for REM, U2, among others).

Grises is a band that plays what is called "Electropop". They arose in the Guipuzcoan town of Zestoa, as a result of a previous group called Gray Dreams. Some changes in the initial formation and a redefinition of their style, gave shape and name to what they are today.

Among the Spanish groups that have entered the music scene of this time, Grises has done so with energy and an excellent reception. It is a first album, presented in 2011 under the name "The Ballpoint Man", it included a song, "Parfait", which was an absolute success in the audience. Then there would be other themes that have become well known, such as “Animal", in 2014.

The album that they have been playing during this year 2015, “Animal”, has been the most mature and evolved of their short but promising career. A more genuine sound with fewer arrangements, with nuances and influence from Alglo-Saxon, from styles such as synth, power pop and post punt. The style of Grays us remember electronic music from the 80s, combined with innovative airs, and with a powerful guitar and active in the foreground. Those who have attended their live shows say they are spectacular.

"Animal" has allowed the band to consolidate within the music scene. Tracks like “Odd”, “Mork”, “Indecision” with its “Wendy” sound, and the fictional airs in “Lopan”. The lyrics have been thoughtful and with a message.

For 2016, the group is announcing on social media that their new work "Erlo" is about to hit the scene. The work has been recorded in the Gaztain studios, which are owned by one of the members of the band, Eñaut, guitarist and vocalist.
