The Kerobia group joins the Creative Commons

kerobia

kerobia is a Basque melodic rock group that happens to be one of the groups with the greatest taste for the slow and quality melodies that are made lately. They have behind them two disks managed, like most disks distributed by conventional media, by the SGAE. However, for their third album they have decided to stop giving part of their work to an obscure management such as that of the authors' society, and they move on to the Creative Commons licenses. It is one of the groups that has bet the most on the technological evolution of music distribution, and they have created a specific blog to distribute their new songs under this license. The disc will be titled Matter organikoa eta gainerakoak (2008, Self-produced). This work is only the first part of a trilogy that will be published in a year and a half. In this way, the second part is expected for February 2009 and the third part for October 2009. So it is pleasant news to see how quality groups begin to look to the future, not of music, but of musical distribution. .
