The Horrors collaborate on the next Gorillaz album

Gorillaz

Rhys 'Spider' Webb, bass of the English grouping of 'garage rock' The horrors, commented that the same Damon Albarn contacted them for this purpose after hearing the Primary Colors, his album released earlier this year.

"Someone sent him a copy of the album some time ago, he contacted us unexpectedly and let us know how much he liked it.
It was a strange email saying 'would you agree to come to my studio sometime?' We did not know why but we thought it would be interesting to meet him and talk
"He commented.

"We got to the studio and he said 'we're working on our new album and we've never collaborated with a band like yours… and Primary Colors is the best I've heard in a long time. Would you agree to do a song with us? '
Gorillaz has always been an experimental group, and I think that's the way to go for a group that doesn't want to get stuck.
"He added.
