The harsh reality about Climate Change

climate change

Climate change problematic it is a stark reality that affects us all equally, as we are leading our planet to inevitable destruction. If a few years ago it sounded remote and even exaggerated, we can no longer deny the evidence that it is happening.

If we keep throwing at the atmosphere the calls greenhouse gases -mainly, Carbon Dioxide (CO2)- perhaps what we call tomorrow is just a vain hope. The problem with these gases is that they cause an alarming global temperature rise, causing very serious adverse effects on the climate: dice, low rainfall, natural disasters, etc.

The catalog of calamities resulting from warming is extensive. With regard to the oceans, they are responsible (together with the forests) of absorbing part of the C02 emitted. However, its waters are suffering such contamination that marine fauna tends to disappear. Not to mention that they will devastate entire coasts, substantially modifying the terrestrial geography.

We must wake up and become aware, or there will be a dangerous increase of another three degrees in the world thermometer, which will lead us to lose natural species, hydraulic resources and who knows how many other things.

Recycling daily, avoiding the excessive use of vehicles, betting on alternative energies ... These are such basic and simple gestures that if we all did it, we would greatly reduce emissions. Everything will benefit our pockets and alleviate the destruction that looms over the Earth.

Let's set ourselves a real goal: by 2020 C02 emission must be reduced by 40%, what is necessary to alleviate the situation and begin to respect our planet, our only home.
