Golden Globes suspended due to writers' strike

The ceremony of delivery of the Golden Globes thus becomes the first victim in Hollywood full writers strike in the United States, when its televised broadcast was canceled as a result of the announced pickets and the boycott of the stars.

Up to a total of 72 actors were nominated in the famous awards, but as the Screen Actors Guild of America (SAG) announced on Friday that they were going to be in solidarity with the scriptwriters and not attend the ceremony, precipitating the events that finally became known this Monday. The winners will be known through the news of the NBC, a chain that has the transmission rights and that surely has felt the cancellation like a torpedo to the waterline.

The subsequent celebration with dinner and champagne in the great hall of the Beverly hilton. Another point scored by the scriptwriters, who are a bit fed up with not being granted the merit they have as creators of the writings that later become the movies. Good for them.
