The Counting Crows will carry on

Counting crows

Adam Duritz, leader of the Counting crows (yes, that North American band that rose to fame in the mid- '90 with the theme "Mr. Jones”), Announced last week that his relationship with the label Geffen Records had finished.

Through a personal note left on the group's official website, he thanked the company and the people related to it that “he worked very hard all these years to make us a successful band".

Immediately, the reaction of many followers and fans was to show their concern before a possible end of his musical career.
However Duritz clarified shortly after that does not imply the end of the Counting crows if not, a new beginning:

"The internet opens the doors to a world with unlimited possibilities, where the only barriers are those of your own imagination. We will try to push them back as much as we can. Unfortunately, the direction we want to take and what we try to pursue are aspects that our label cannot carry out.".

Currently on tour with The Who by Australia y New Zealand, Duritz He announced that they will continue to do what they know how to do:
"I don't know what we will do from now on. Surely, we will start recording new material when we see fit. We are a band that makes records so we'll make some more«.
