The Coen brothers will preside over the 2015 Cannes Film Festival jury

Two of the usual directors in the fight for the Palme d'Or, the brothers Coen, will preside over the jury of the official section of the Festival de Cannes.

Up to three times the Coens have won the award for the best director of the illustrious French competition, in addition to having once won the Palm of Gold and in another the Grand Jury Prize.

In 1991 they managed to win the Palme d'Or and the award for Best Director in 1991 with his fourth film «Barton Fink«. Joel Coen and Ethan Coen would once again win the award for best director in 1996 with the famous «Fargo«. They would repeat this same award in 2001 with «The Man Who Wasn't There«.

The last time the Coen brothers were awarded in the official section of the Cannes Film Festival was just two years ago. When his last film «Inside Llewyn Davis»Won the Grand Jury Prize.

Now American filmmakers return to Cannes film festival to preside over the jury that will decide who wins the Palme d'Or this year, as well as the rest of the awards in the official section, taking over from New Zealand director Jane Campion.
