In the city Potsdam, in Germany, there is the oldest film museum in the country and as of today it exhibits 7.000 black and white photographs of 800 films, prior to 1945, among which one of the mythical Greta Garbo with the spanish actor Antonio Moreno, hugging his leg, in Everyone's land, film of the year 1926.

All these snapshots were purchased for € 35.000, which the state of Brandenburg contributed to a collector in Hamburg.

The collection consists mainly of photographs taken for the production of advertisements, which were placed in movie theaters and published in the media. Multitude of images that make this collection unique and a treasure that movie lovers should not miss if they have the opportunity to visit this museum.
