I have already told you on other occasions that Michael Mann is preparing a movie about the famous bank robber and murderer John Dillinger en Public Enemies. To bring Dillinger to life, he counts neither more nor less than Sweeney Todd, I sayooo with Johnny Depp. Also this Christian Bale playing Melvin Purvis, the FBI agent who pursues him and other criminals of the time.
To those two heavyweights we must add the rest of the cast that has already been completed and is awesome. Marion Cotillard (The life in rose), Giovanni ribisi (Save Private Ryan, 60 Seconds, and many others where it embroiders), S (Blade or Backbeat among others), Channing Tatum (Memories of Queens), David Wenham (The Lord of the Rings, Van Helsing, 300) and Stephen Graham (Snatch or This is England). We will have to wait until 2009 to see it.
