The Artist available on DVD and Blu-ray

The Artist, the great work of Michel Hazanavicius and the absolute winner of the last Oscar ceremony where it was crowned with 5 statuettes (Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor for Jean Dujardin, Best Costumes and Best Music) will be available from next 23rd of May on DVD and Blu-ray so that all lovers of great cinema can enjoy it at home.

The Artist collector's edition we can enjoy it thanks to Cameo, who will be in charge of your DVD and Blu-ray edition. Also available is a normal edition and a special edition Fnac that includes some extra items in the pack for a price of € 27,99 and that you can reserve from this moment.

If you are one of those who have not seen it yet, we remind you that The Artist is a French film that is set in Hollywood in the 30s and tells the story of a silent film star who is relegated to the background with the arrival of the talkies, while a young woman habitual of extra roles takes the opposite path and is quickly at the top of the new cinematographic format thanks to her great charisma and talent for dancing. In addition to the 5 Oscars mentioned above, the film also triumphed at the Globes with 6 nominations and 3 awards (best comedy / musical, best soundtrack, and best comedy / musical actor) and at the BAFTAs with seven awards out of a total of 12 nominations.
