The 7 keys to the trailer for the sixth season of Game of Thrones

Game of Thrones trailer10

HBO has heard our pleas. Just yesterday launched the first official trailer, a few days after having presented us with that brief and intriguing teaser in which the great protagonists of the series appeared in the House of Black and White of the Lord of All Faces in the free city of Braavos.

El trailer for the sixth season of 'Game of Thrones' gives us a lot more information than this first teaser. Here are the main themes and hypotheses that arise and are born as a result of this new promotional material. It goes without saying that if you do not want to know absolutely anything better than to stop reading this post at this precise moment, otherwise you will eat all the spoilers with potatoes and dessert included.

1- Daenerys Targaryen in the starting box

At the end of the fifth season, Daenerys Targaryen ends up being surrounded by countless Dothraki. From what the trailer shows us, I imagine that it will end up in an unwanted place, stripped of all title and honor (remember that it is no longer a khaleesi). Jorah Mormont and Daario Naharis find his ring and go in search of it to resume their march.

When will we see the mother of the Dragons in Westeros? It wouldn't hurt if she took an army of Dothraki and Unsullied with her, it would be shocking to see them battle alongside the dragons against the Royal Guard in King's Landing.

2- Finally the flashbacks a Game of Thrones

In a couple of shots we see two certainly doubtful images. One of them refers us directly to the profile of one of the most emblematic characters of the first season: Ned Stark! Judge for yourself:

It is surely a flashback to Robert's Rebellion: Conflict led by Robert Baratheon, John Arryn and Ned Stark that ended with the assassination of Aerys Targaryen (The Mad King) and the rise to the throne of Robert. Tick, tock, tick, tock ...

3- Tommen Baratheon, the current King of Westeros.

How will the Iron Throne affect this already grown character? In this plane Tommen appears, escorted by the Royal Guard, advancing towards the throne. From his face I deduce that his morals and ethics are not in accordance with his mother Cersei's thirst for revenge.

4- The revenge of Cersei Lannister

If we are sure of one thing, it is that the revenge of the daughter of the fearsome Tywin Lannister is going to be mythical. Not only because of the death of his daughter Myrcella Baratheon in Dorne, but also because of the shame they put her through at the end of the fifth season from the High Septon, the highest authority of the Seven Kingdoms faith. She affirms it herself when she says: I choose violence!

… And for this he will use the Mountain. But this time in format zombie. Who will fall into the clutches of such beasts? May the Old and New Gods catch confessed lambs!

5- The death of Jon Snow

The fifth season left us breathless after seeing how another of the protagonists passed away. Jon Snow was killed in cold blood on the Wall by members of the Night's Watch. However, several sources have led us to believe that his death would be something temporary. Although, in the trailer he appears dead, but we also see Melisandre doing her thing and in a revealing last shot her direwolf, Ghost, lying next to her. One life for another?

Will we also finally know who his parents are? Many of us advocate the theory that her birth is the result of the mysterious relationship between Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark.

6- Theon? Sansa?

At the end of the fifth season we saw Theon Greyjoy and Sansa Stark jump off a wall of Bolton House in the North while Ramsey was busy wiping out the crumbs from Stannis Baratheon's army. During the trailer we see the new eunuch three times, two of them with a different haircut.

Will there be any flashback to show us some important aspect of the character as a pupil of Ned Stark? Or even better: Will Sansa and Theon get out of that hell? Of one thing I am sure, they have not come from the North, since they both appear dressed in northern clothes.

7- Bran Stark and a White Walker

Towards the end of the trailer we see Bran Stark standing, not being transported by Hodor, staring in awe at the Leader of the White Walkers. Something tells me that this season the "cripple" of the Starks is going to give a lot to talk about. Has he learned to fly as he said the Three-Eyed Raven would do in the Arciano Beyond the Wall? Will his uncle Benjen Star be this Leader of the White Walkers as speculated?
