First teaser for Star Wars Episode VIII and official cast (with surprises)

Luke Star Wars

Do you remember the end of 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'? It doesn't take much memory to remember one of the most intense moments of Episode VII: Luke's appearance at the end of the film on the planet Ahch-To, just at the moment in which Rey, the new heroine of the saga, invites him to take his mythical lightsaber to fight against the First Order.

Lucasfilm and Disney have surprised us a few minutes ago with the first teaser for Episode VIII (no title yet) in which Luke appears again! Although it still does not give us much, since it does not pronounce or whisper anything in the few minutes it lasts. In short, it is an unexpected surprise, very brief but intense, which serves to present the start of filming of the next episode, directed this time by Rian Johnson. JJ Abrams will continue to be involved in the project, albeit as a producer.

Another of the most interesting points is that next to the teaser of Epsiodius VIII the official cast of this new feature film, and among the novelties we find Benicio del Toro and Laura Dern. As for the characters that repeat, we find Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie and Andy Serkis. Any hypotheses on the role that del Toro will develop as a villain and Dern?

Star Wars VIII filming
