There are a few weeks until the start of the Venice Festival and some of the activities are already beginning to be known. Within the framework of the meeting, there will be a retrospective of the "western spaghetti" cinema.
The interesting thing is who will be the godfather of the show, which will begin on August 29. Nothing less than Quentin Tarantino; the director will attend the screenings and discussions about the films.
Some of the 32 films that will be shown are reportedly: "For a Handful of Dollars" (1964), by Sergio Leone; "Tepepa" (1968), by Giulio Petroni; "One reason to live, another to die" (1972), by Tonino Valeri and "The Navajo" (1966), by Sergio Corbucci, among many others.
On the other hand, Tarantino is preparing the next parts of the "Kill Bill" series, which will be released only in 2009.
