Brett Anderson has just confirmed to the British website The quietus that there will be a meeting record of Sweden. In fact the album is already being recorded and in the words of the singer of the band it is a cross between "Dog Man Star" and a bit of "Coming Up".

I recognize that it is possible that we went wrong direction on the last albums because we did not know very well where we were going in sonic terms, so we looked for a different direction with regular results.
Ed buller of which Anderson says that "he is a great fan of pop music who connects with us, with that sound so Marc Bolan". The good news is that the band has realized that the way forward is to "Dog Man Star", possibly their best album.
