Stone Temple Pilots: new album for 2010?

STP - Scott Weiland

In the middle of last year, Stone Temple Pilots announced their plans to reunite to tour and work on new material: the band has managed to stick together ever since, show after show, but there were no signs they were recording anything new… until now.

In an interview for a well-known music magazine, Scott Weiland revealed the project to make a new album with the STP, which would be the first since Shangri La Dee Da (2001), ensuring that they would get to work as soon as they finish their live commitments (that is, in January Next year).

"When we finish this new album we will do their respective promotional tour… and it will probably be quite long. Once our concert schedule concludes, in January, we will work on it ... and I will probably also think about my new solo album"He said.

Let us remember that in May of this year a local newspaper published that the STP they already had 18 songs written, and that they would have the services of Don Was in the production of the LP.
