When we signed it back in 1986, we never sat down to talk about how many records we'd put out or how long the deal would last. We just signed and have been doing our job ever since".

The bassist and vocalist also commented that they are very busy creating and writing songs, and that after the next album the future of Slayer.
"We are working hard on new ideas so that a sample of what is to come can be delivered soon. Kerry and Jeff are mixing ideas, so I can't predict what the outcome of the next two and a half months will be. Once we have finished with the new material, we will meet to discuss future plans".

araya He concluded by saying that being over 50 and being on stage is not the best combination of all: “Seeing fifty-year-old people moving their hair on a stage would make me feel ashamed of others. If I was in the audience I would think 'hey, aren't you too old to do this? ... you're going to fall!'... ".
