Slash talks about his first solo album

slash1

The legendary former Guns and Roses guitarist and current Velvet Revolver, has announced that, after the conflictive departure of Scott Weiland he has dedicated himself to composing and polishing what will be his first solo work.

Slash is currently finishing the arrangements of the songs and has already started recording some of the material that will make up the album. Among the musicians who will help you with the recording process are the experienced drummer Josh Freese (Nine Inch Nails, Guns N 'Roses, Devo, Offspring) and Chris Chaney, bassist for Jane's Addiction.

About Freese and his time in the band of Axl Rose, Slash it was very clear: “Freese played with Guns And Roses in the 90s, for a while, but left after a few years, so I don't know if that will count for much. In any case, that does not mean that he is a fantastic drummer ”.

As for the singing voice, Slash's intention is to summon different singers, one for each track. It is rumored that Among those chosen will be the great Ozzy Osbourne and, (a surprise) Fergie, the sensual singer of the Black Eyed Peas

There is no scheduled release date yet but we will closely follow all the news of this project, as well as the names that are added to accompany the first solo album of Slash.
