Sitges 2015: Review of 'Partisan'

Interesting Australian proposal that of Ariel Kleiman 'Partisan', although too predictable from the first moment.

Compared from the beginning with films like 'Canino' or 'The Tribe', clearly loses with them, although this does not mean that the great work of the script must be disregarded when creating a universe on the fringes of society.

Partisan

While the aforementioned 'Canino' and 'The Tribe' were groundbreaking both in their plot and in their form, 'Partisan' is much more classic and quickly reveals what its climax will be like.

But it also has its points in its favor, such as the great actor directing work by Ariel Kleiman when working with children and obviously good performances what these give you and of course a Vincent Cassel who always gives his best version in any kind of role, but especially in those of more questionable morals.

It should also be noted, as did the Sundance Festival in which he was present, his great photography, and is that the largest independent film contest gave him an award for this section. Seeing the film at a Sitges Festival does not work in its favor, because although it may have a fantastic touch, it is clearly a drama that is valued much better in competitions such as Sundance that are more dedicated to drama.
