More than two years after the release of her latest album, the Irish singer Sinead o'connor has just announced the release of his next album, the tenth of his discography, which will be called 'The Vishnu Room'. The announcement coincides with the signing of his record contract with the Canadian label Nettwerk Music Group (Sarah McLachlan, Ladytron…) and that he will publish O'Connor's new album on August 12th.
O'Connor's relationship with the Canadian label is not new, given that Network handled the distribution of his discography previously. The UK label's director, Blair McDonald, said in a statement: “After supporting Sinead's discography for the past five years, it's great for our label to expand this relationship. The new material from Sinead is amazing and we are very happy to be working on the worldwide launch that we will make this year. ".
The statement anticipates that 'The Vishnu Room' It will contain a series of romantic songs, and promises that it will show O'Connor on his “passionate and direct” side, yet with an overall fragility; defining that the Irish voice is "a weapon as powerful as it is tender."
