The Scottish group Simple Minds He will release his first album in five years next November, and the 16th studio album in his discography, which now spans three decades of professional career. The new album is called Big Music and will be released on the Sony Music label on November 4.
According to the press release issued by the record company, the new Big music has been performed alongside old and new collaborators of the group, which include composer Iain Cook (of the Glasgow band Chvrches) and producers Steve Osborne, Andy Wright and Steve Hillage, who previously worked with the Scottish band on 'Sons And Fascination / Sister Feelings Call ', 1981.
The new album features songs such as the energetic "Blindfolded" that opens the album and is reminiscent of the classic 1980 electronic sound of "I Travel", as well as "Midnight Walking", reminiscent of the sound of the album "Sparkle In The Rain" 1984, or the album's first featured track, "Honest Town," inspired by the vocalist's mother, Jim Kerr, who passed away four years ago in Glasgow. According to Sony, the new Big Music is presented as an irresistible mixture of talent and fidelity to a style typical of the Scots, which marked the synthpop of the eighties.
