'Simple Minds Acoustic' is the name of the new album by the legendary Scottish group in which they have reworked new versions of their most important hits with acoustic arrangements. Simple Minds takes a tour of more than thirty years of career, including their most notable hits such as 'Don't You (Forget About Me)', 'Alive and kicking', 'Sanctify yourself' and 'Promised You a Miracle' (with KT Tunstall).

On sale since last Friday (11) this new album comes two years after their previous album, 'Big Music' (2014), an album that received a warm impact in the specialized press, declaring it the best album of the group in several decades.

In the new 'Simple Minds Acoustic', the British band continues their artistic search with a collection of stripped and recreated songs to show a new acoustic facet, with successful arrangements that have managed to maintain the spirit and energy that has characterized Simple Minds to throughout its trajectory.

In order to present this new album, the group has announced an extensive tour throughout different European cities between May and June of next year called 'Acoustic Live ´17'. This tour will also make a stopover in Spain and will visit the cities of Barcelona (Mil·Lenni Festival - April 30), Madrid (Circo Price Theater - May 2), Burgos (Forum Evolución Burgos, Palacio de Congresos and Auditorium - 6 May) and Pamplona (Palacio de Congresos Baluarte - May 7).

Simple Minds will have a luxury guest on this tour, the Scottish KT Tunstall, a star to British audiences known for her rock and folk songs and accolades, the Brit Award for Best Female Solo Artist in 2006 and her nomination in the same category at the 2007 Grammys.
