Sheryl Crow turns to soul

Returns Sheryl Crow: the singer will publish in July a studio work called '100 Miles From Memphis', where he focuses on soul, the genre with which he grew up.

It is said that when Sheryl was a child in her native Kennett, in Missouri (United States), she distracted herself listening to the soul artists of the 60s (Otis Redding, Wilson pickett, Booker T, Aretha Franklin) and others from the early 70s (Al Green, Curtis mayfield, Marvin Gaye, Sly stone).

«I feel artistically revitalized and this music makes me feel fresh and at the same time very familiar with what I do. Some of the songs from my past like 'Run Baby Run', 'My Favorite Mistake' or 'Now That You're Gone' are already infused with this style«Said the great vocalist.
