Well, it seems that shortly we will have one of my favorite characters roaming the screens of cinemas around the world, and doubly if the news that comes in with a dropper ends up being fulfilled. The character in question is none other than Sherlock Holmes, and two projects are going to put it back into action.
The first, at least in the order that I have heard / read it, is the one I would be riding Guy Ritchie for Warner, which I hope will develop after the imminent premiere of rock and roll. There is talk of Clive Owen to play a Holmes (just thinking about it makes my hair like spikes) who could show off his skills as a swordsman. The second project is from Columbia and it does have an actor for the main role, it is Sacha Baron Cohen, with Will ferrel as Doctor Watson and the production of Judd Apatow. All this makes this version go to be a pure and simple comedy and that means that they do not count on me to see it.
