Scorpions add a date in Madrid for March

After exhausting in record time tickets for his concert on Saturday March 8, the german band Scorpions will repeat the night before in the Vistalegre Palace from Madrid. The Spanish capital will therefore enjoy a double opportunity to see live the band formed in 1969 by Rudolf Schenker and Klaus Meine, now one of the most influential in history.

Tickets for this new concert on Friday, March 7, in which HEAT will be invited as guest artists, can be purchased for 50 euros from 12:00 hours on November 20. The official points of sale are those of the Ticketmaster network, the telephone number 902.150.025 and the Sun Records store (where buying the collector's ticket will enter a draw for a Gibson Rudolf Schenker Flying V guitar).

Meanwhile, Sony International has set January 21, 2014 as the official release date for Scorpions' 'MTV Unplugged'. On 12-13 September 2013, Klaus Meine (vocals, guitars), Rudolf Schenker (guitars, vocals), Matthias Jabs (guitars), Pawel Maciwoda (bass) and James Kottak (drums) gave two fantastic acoustic performances at en the Lycabettus theater in Athens. The open-air theater, which was designed by the Greek architect Takis Zenetos in 1965 is located on Mount Lycabettus, 300m high, and offers a breathtaking view of the Greek metropolis. This is the first outdoor concert in the history of MTV Unplugged.
