SAY10: Marilyn Manson hopes to release her new album in February

SAY10 Marilyn Manson

In a recent interview, Marilyn Manson revealed more details about her upcoming album, which is tentatively titled SAY10. (a set of letters and numbers that sound like 'satan' out loud) and that it is estimated that it will go on sale for next Valentine's Day, that is, in mid-February 2017.

During the interview Manson made a comparison between the new production 'SAY10' and his iconic albums 'Antichrist Superstar' (1996) and 'Mechanical Animals' (1998). Manson anticipated that his new compositions will be among the most violent that have been heard so far.

The well-known musician is sharing work between the composition of the new album and attending the interpretation of his character in the next season of the series' Salem', for which he must travel to the southern US (Shreveport, Louisiana) for filming.

Verbatim, Manson declared to the press: "Working on the new album has brought back memories of when I was writing material for 'Antichrist Superstar' that, curiously, its 20th anniversary is celebrated in October. It has happened to me that the whole supernatural atmosphere of the series has become more authentic to me while I was living in New Orleans. Hoodoo, voodoo, Santeria, everything became a very important part of my environment while I was composing there. It may be that all that has been what prompted me to start composing the new album ».

The musician continued with the report commenting: “What I'm working on is in no way like the songs on 'The Pale Emperor'. Those who have listened to the new songs told me that it reminded them of their favorite parts of 'Antichrist Superstar' and 'Mechanical Animals', but with a new approach., it sounded different to them. This new stuff sounds pretty violent on its base for some reason and it's not emotional in the same way either. I am liking what I am doing. I really can't wait for people to listen to it. I think I'm going to surprise you all. »
