It just launched 'The Ronnie James DIO Story. mightier than the sword', a double CD in tribute to the late vocalist Ronnie James Dio.
It is a 2-CD collection that celebrates more than three decades of music by one of the greatest vocalists in the history of hard rock and heavy metal.
Born in New Hampshire in 1942, God He entered the world of music with his own group, Elf, and later joined Rainbow, the group of guitarist Ritchie Blackmore of Deep Purple. Later, he entered Black Sabbath in 1980, replacing Ozzy Osbourne, with this band he recorded the classics 'Heaven and Hell' and 'Mob Rules'.
Then in 1983 he formed his solo band, God, with which he continued to perform over the years, with brief intervals with the Black Sabbath meetings (lately called Heaven and Hell for legal reasons).
