Nick Cowan, the former manager of the guitarist of the Stones, Ronnie Wood, has revealed in his book Fifty Teabags And A Bottle Of Rum some curiosities of the parties that the members of this legendary English band did when they went on tour.
"Keith spent the night listening to music and drinking in the company of some friends, but access to his room was restricted: Only those with a special invitation could enter.
On the other hand, Ronnie's was where a big party took place: Every night and until the wee hours of the next day, the door was open for everyone who wanted to drink and something else".
"Mick Jagger and Charlie Watts, who enjoy their hours of sleep, were located in the rooms that were as far away as possible from theirs.
Due to the high volume of the music that they both used to play throughout the night, their two suites had to be as far apart as possible.".
