For these weeks they have been released a good amount of albums by very dissimilar artists. Here, a tour of the most important news on the world music scene:

- The heartbreaking, and at the same time beautiful, voice of PJ Harvey returns, this time accompanied by John Parish. The work in question is titled A Woman A Man Walked By and it can already be obtained in all record stores
- Another return is that of Duff McKagan, that with his album loaded, follow your career after your EP Wasted Heart. Loaded has 13 songs and is marketed with a DVD that records the show that Duff and his band toasted at the Glasgow Garage, just a few months ago
- Karin Dreijer Andersson of The Knife, presents its parallel project Ray Fever
- The electronic Swedes, Peter, Bjorn & John will try to continue with Living Thing, the success of your last job Seaside rock, of the 2008
- For those who like hip hop and rap, Flo Rida launches ROOTS (Routes Of Overcoming The Struggle), with luxury collaborations such as Akon, Wyclef Jean or Nelly Furtado
- The band Filter publishes a compilation of greatest hits, commemorating his long 13-year career
- Leonard Cohen does the same with his new album live, Live in London, after Cohen Live and Field Commander Cohen
- There will also be very interesting reissues. One of them is paranoid, of the unequaled Black Sabbath, which includes the original disc, another with instrumental versions and reversals of the disc's songs and a DVD with live performances and with excellent quality
- And continuing with the deluxe editions, fans of Elvis they will have to celebrate with the appearance of I Believe: The Gospel Masters, a very complete box-set of 4 cds.
