Messages (A&M Records, 1984), only work -recorded between London y New York- of this band formed at the time by Michael Gross (guitar, saxophone), Bobby siems (battery), Vincent Piazza (Keyboards), Tim McGeary (bass and voice) Y Paul mcgovern (guitar and voice, whose vocal register at times resembles that of Robert Smith).
Of this mini lp of five songs, there are two that undoubtedly stand out: The homonym “messages"And the slow one that we will see next,"tell me now".
Without becoming an essential, the album lets itself be heard and at times it can quite recall what Naked eyes used to do: Something totally understandable, well Tony mansfield produced almost all of his albums, just like this one.
