If something was missing from that great band that is REM, it was the live album. And finally in October, that debt will be settled with the edition of Live at The Olympia, the first live work, in which we can enjoy the energy that REM displays on stage.
The CD rescues the shows that the Georgian group gave in 2007 in the Irish city of Dublin, while preparing the so far last studio album, Accelerate.
"We are just trying to do something we haven't done before"explained the guitarist Peter buck. "There was no relaxation during the performances, there was a certain tension because everything was fine" Buck concluded.
"Live At The Olympia" this Pproduced by Jacknife Lee and will include a list of 39 songs. Its launch is announced for the October 26, and days later a special pack will be released with a DVD of the concerts.
