The remake of the horror classic that catapulted the dark Freddy Krueger to fame does not stop in its preparations to start filming. Michael Bay's production company, Platinum Dunes, which is also in charge of the renewal of the Tuesday 13 saga, is already working on the film.
You already noticed el start of filming for April 27, in the city of Chicago and, as we anticipated, the person in charge of the new A Nightmare on Elm Street will be the director Samuel Bayer which will have a script by Wesley Strick.
Also leaked information about the characters: the female protagonist will be called Kris, a very confident young woman, who will partner with Quentin, another teenager, somewhat strange and mysterious. The list of characters is completed with Nancy, of great intelligence, but a little withdrawn; Dean, the wealthy of the group; and close Jesse, who will carry the stereotype of a popular boy, with a past love affair with Kris.
