Pixie Lott will publish his third album on August 4 and in an interview he has said that his new album represents her better than anything else musical she has released before. The singer told Fault magazine that her latest material reflects her passion for live music and the sound she grew up with, describing it as heavily influenced by soul.
"I grew up listening to music from the 60s and 70s and mixed it with who I am," he said. «It is the favorite album of all the ones I have done so far. It better represents me, which is why I have named it Pixie Lott. I knew I wanted it to have a cohesive sound, that's what I wanted my second album to be, but that didn't end up happening.
Lott explained that alive is her priority when it comes to music, as it "is the most" for her. "There is no better feeling for me than to sing live for people." He also suggested that she considers inner beauty far more important than outer appearances. "Beauty comes from the inside out," he said. "If you feel good inside, that makes you look and feel more beautiful."
He has recently posted a sampler on YouTube in which we can listen to brief fragments of all the songs on this album:
