Phil Collins reissues his six most successful albums

Phil Collins Remastered

A few days ago, the British drummer and singer Phil Collins released two new reissues of the collection 'Take A Look At Me Now… (The Complete Albums Box)', a recent project with the ex-Genesis frontman who has resurrected his eight studio albums, through new remastered and extended editions with bonus tracks personally selected by the British pop star.

For this new collection, Collins has decided to touch up the art of his classics by changing the original images of the covers with current photos of the singer, a bold decision that had its (mostly negative) impact on social networks. After the release a few weeks ago of the albums 'Face value', 'Both sides', 'Dance into the light' and 'Hello, I must be going', now the new editions of 'No jacket required' and 'Testify' have arrived.

The multiplatinum 'No jacket required' was Collins' third studio album and was released in February 1985. The album peaked at number 1 in the UK and US, selling a spectacular 20 million copies, in addition to achieving no less than three Grammy Awards in early 1986. 'No jacket required' includes one of Collins' biggest commercial hits of his entire solo career, 'Sussudio', as well as classics from the mid-eighties such as 'One More Night' and 'Take Me Home', an album that can be considered as a sample of the pop music of the 1980s. It has now been reissued in a remastered version with a second CD (Extra Large Jacket Required) that includes 13 extra songs.

Phil Collins' collection 'Take A Look At Me Now… (The Complete Albums Box)' includes albums' Face value 'and' Both sides' with bonus tracks (Extra Values and Extra Sides). It has been edited by the Atlantic (Warner) label and released in CD format and 180 g vinyl album. In a recent interview, the British musician gave details about the production process of the reissues, the beginnings of his solo career and more comments on his passionate professional career.
