Penelope Cruz continues to win awards for her portrayal of a mad lover tormented by Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Tonight she won the Bafta award, British film awards, for best supporting actress.

For this award she fought against the actresses Amy Adams (The doubt); Tilda Swinton by (Burn after reading); Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire) and Marisa Tomei (The Wrestler).

Also, last Sunday she won the Goya for Best Supporting Actress for this role.

Now you just need to take the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress to close the year of awards that she has been carrying, although Marisa Tomei could snatch this award from her for her performance as a mature stripper who wants to rebuild her life in The Wrestler.
