Pearl Jam: victims of a violent assault

jeff ament, bassist of this band Seattle (the one that appears in the middle of the photograph), was the victim of a violent robbery when leaving the studies Southern Tracks Recording en Atlanta, place where the ninth album of Pearl Jam under the baton of the experienced producer Brendan O'Brien.

According to the respective police report, Ament and one more employee were taken to the back of the studio (late last month) by three assailants wearing bladed weapons, gloves and dark masks: they broke the car windows and seized a BlackBerry before demanding the money.
In all, they escaped with $3000 in cash and $4320 on personal items.

In addition, it has been known that the bassist was chased and struck on the ground, presenting a head injury that was treated by paramedics almost immediately.
The incident was recorded by a surveillance camera but so far no arrests have been made.

The group declined to comment.
