Paul McCartney has expressed his wish that the legendary London studios Abbey Road can be saved, after the record company EMI announce his plans to sell them in order to pay the huge debts he has incurred ...

"I know there is a small group of people who have been associated with the study for a long time. They were talking about making a collective offer in order to save him.".

"I fully support them. I hope you can do something to remedy all this… it would be great. Obviously, I am linked to him by the great amount of memories of my time with the Beatles… Abbey Road is still a great studio. I hope they can save it".

It has been known that EMI hopes to raise with this sale the sum of £ 30 million, to pay a part of your debts.
