This week at the American box office the surprise has been given by comedy Paul Blart: Mall Cop, which with a box office of 33 million dollars has been made with the No. 1 of the most viewed and also has already amortized its cost of 26 million. Quite a business and a surprise.
The film is produced by Adam Sandler and written by Kevin James who is also the lead actor in it.
From Nº1 to Nº2 it goes down Gran Torino of the teacher Clint Eastwood and adds up to 73 million dollars for what can become one of the highest grossing films directed by the old Clint.
Horror premiere of the week My Bloody Valentine 3-D debuts in the third position with 21 million dollars but surely its collection will drop more than 9% next week.
