A monster comes to see me is the new production of John Anthony Bayonne, director of things like The Orphanage or the box office The Impossible. We bring you the trailer of this long-awaited film that has come to light thanks to the resources of Spanish and American producers.
Fantastic drama that tells the story of a boy who tries to cope with his mother's illness by taking refuge in a fantasy world.
Adaptation of the novel that in Spain we know under the title of 'A monster comes to see me', written by Patrick Ness although based on an idea of the late writer Siobhan Dawd, who could not finish the book because of cancer.
The film has a good cast: Liam Neeson (Monster Voice), Felicity Jones, Sigourney Weaver, Toby Kebbell, Lewis MacDougall, Geraldine Chaplin.
As we have commented before, it is directed by John Anthony Bayonne. The funny thing is that the script is by Patrick Ness himself, author of the book.
The release date in our country is September 7. Contrary to what happens with other American productions, it will be released earlier in Spain than in the United States, whose release date is scheduled for September 21.
Then I leave you this fascinating trailer. I hope you enjoy it as I have.
