Anni B Sweet, Andalusian singer-songwriter based in Madrid who together with Russian Red leads here the phenomenon of female indie folk, will release her second album on April 23, provisionally titled album "Oh, Monsters!", and how the singer from Madrid seeks to give it an Anglo-Saxon touch.
In the past two years, Sweet, whose real name is Ana López, has been one of the revelations of our scene after his promising debut "Start, Restart, Undo", edited in 2009 by Subterfuge and then reissued with his curious version of "Take On Me", hit of A-Ha. Since then, he has not only defended this work on our stages, but has also been able to see how different audiences such as French, Japanese, Mexican or German reacted to his songs. On stage with her guitar and dressed in that elegant folk but also accompanied by her companions Iván Ferreiro, They, Lori Meyers, Amaro Ferreiro and Nico Pastoriza among others in that megagroup that is The Polygon Orchestra.
He recorded this new work at the Reno studios in Madrid, sharing the production with the British phil vinall, who has worked on albums by Placebo, Pulp or the Mexicans Zoé, the band that shares a US tour with Enrique Bunbury.
