A few minutes ago, the streaming network Netflix has made public that The Punisher, one of the most beloved characters in the Marvel Universe, will have his own series starring Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, who has already appeared in the second season of 'Daredevil'.
Frank Castle managed to take the role of Daredevil in the series thanks to his charisma and brutal essence with respect to the classic comic book character, it is well known that in the series that is produced in the coming years he will not be far behind. As reported Entertainment Weekly 'The Punisher' will be the sixth series from Marvel and Netflix, and it will follow 'Jessica Jones', whose appearance has already made it possible for many new fans to join the audience. It is incredible how the UCM also expands into the world of series, and not only in cinema.
Since the beginning of the year we already had information about the fact that Netflix was working on a series centered on Frank Castle, a character who also had his film debut on a couple of occasions played by Thomas Jane, although now we already know that this information that was rumored it's completely official.
