Nelly Furtado seems to have found a new one source of inspiration when writing her songs in Spanish: the Canadian singer says that, for now, she is not thinking of going back to pop songs in English, so singing in our language is a new way of expressing herself ...
"I think this album contains some of my true love songs never heard ... they are not complicated or overly arranged, everything flows naturally and I feel liberated by singing in this language, and being able to express feelings from the Latin part of my soul"He explained.
"After the 2006 tour, she was physically exhausted and lacked motivation. It was almost as if I had lost my pop inspiration to write in English. I needed a new outlet ... and I found it composing in Spanish"He added.
He also said that he hopes My Plan show people that «language is not an impediment when it comes to making music«.
