The film The passing lovers opened the Nantes Spanish Film Festival, a contest that until next April 9 will present several films of Spanish origin that have been shot before 2012.
The fiction films that will fight for him Jules Verne award They will be: The dead man and being happy, by Javier Rebollo; Orange honey, by Imanol Uribe; A pistol in each hand, by Cesc Gay; The artist and the model, by Fernando Trueba; The Wild Children, by Patricia Ferreira; and Group 7, by Alberto Rodríguez.
The Opera Prima competitive section, sponsored by the SGAE Author Foundation, will feature the documentary: 30 years of darkness, by Manuel H. Martín; Animals, by Marçal Forés; Carmina o revienta, by Paco León; Six Points on Emma, by Roberto Pérez Toledo; and Fin, by Jorge Torregrossa.
Out of competition there are other Spanish products that are presented in the competition such as La banda Picasso, by Fernando Colomo and ¡Atraco! by Eduard Cortés, a film that will close this contest, which in this edition pays tribute to José Luis Borau.
