Motörhead announces its 'MotörBoat' metal cruiser for fall

Motörhead Motorboat 2014

The heavy metal group Motörhead is preparing this year to launch a themed cruise, which will be named no less than 'MotörBoat'. Last week the heavy metal group announced from its website the preliminary information of the thematic cruise in which they will perform and at the same time they will be the masters of ceremony, and which will also feature a cast of heavy metal guest figures.

The MotörBoat cruise ship is scheduled to set sail during the fall of 2014 and its itinerary will cover a voyage from the city of Miami to the Mexican island of Cozumel, with a stop in the idyllic city of Key West, as announced in a statement from the band last Wednesday (19), from the event's Facebook page, where they anticipated that "The dates, details of the thematic crossing such as ticket sales would be available in a few weeks".

The announcement of this new project by the British band gives an idea that the health of its leader Lemmy Kilmister, a heart condition caused Motörhead's European tour to be canceled last year, is currently on the mend. The last album of the group, 'Aftershock', was released a few months ago (October) and a few weeks ago it was announced that the group would perform next April at the Californian Coachella festival for its promotion in the United States.
