We already have a date for one of the groups that are having the most traction in the indie scene; MGMT. The duo formed by Ben Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden will arrive in Spain at the beginning of next December to celebrate a concert in Madrid (La Riviera, December 17) and the day before in Barcelona at Sala Razzmatazz. At MGMT concert in Madrid will present his new and second album Congratulations, which has nine groundbreaking songs and whose cover was designed by Anthony Ausgang.
Although concert tickets have not yet gone on sale, it is already possible to listen to it on the Internet. The group made it available to everyone, although the official launch of Congratulations will not be until next April 13. This second album is an important bet in MGMT's career since in which they will define if they continue with their previous psychedelic style and full of hits, or risk an evolution in their sound relying on their “hitero” sense of smell.
The concerts in Madrid and Barcelona will be the penultimate and penultimate of their scheduled tour so far since the capital of Portugal, Lisbon, has been the place chosen to end the year 2010.
