With a huge list of groups of the most diverse styles of metal, Today the Metalway Festival begins in the Spanish city of Zaragoza, which will summon the most interesting exponents of the international scene.
The festival will take place over 5 days, on two consecutive weekends, on June 19, 20, 21, 26 and 27. The conference will take place in spacious facilities in the neighborhood of Valdespartera, what has cAbility to house more than 15.000 people, thanks to its 60.000 square meters. On the other hand, the stage measures 46 meters, and is equipped with 200.000 watts of sound, 350.000 of light and four video screens.
The event began yesterday with a free recital by the legendary Red Baron, who returned to acting after spending years apart. They accompanied them Hell's Angels, Bullet, Extrema, Apatrida Angelus, Highwey to Hell and the local Fruta Fresca.
The Metalway is a detachment from Monsters of Rock, perhaps one of the most important metal festivals in the world, along with the box office Ozzfest. In the vicinity of the stage tents will be set up to protect themselves from the sun, where you can listen to the Djs Rafa Basa and Carlos Mephisto, record stores and bars to eat.
Among the most representative bands that will pass through Saragossa, are: Manowar, Heaven and Hell, Stratovarius, Dark Tranquility, Immortal, Primal Fear, Europe, Blind Guardian, Wasp, Fear Factory, Warcry, Saxon, Motorhead, Twisted Sister, Gotthard, Tesla, and Apocalyptica.
