Matt Sorum: "I wish things were different"

Matt Sorum

The old battery of the Guns 'n' Roses -and current of the Velvet Revolver- spoke once again about a dream reunion of the former, with all its original members, saying that is not correct which Axl insist on going on tour under the name of your ex-group and regretting that you have neither voice nor vote on it ...

"Being a drummer in any group doesn't exactly mean being able to make decisions, of course, except for Lars Ulrich from Metallica and Larry Mullen from U2. If I were the leader of the group, things would be different ... but it is not."He said.

Sorum He also said that, if there was a hypothetical meeting of the Guns 'n' Roses, both he and Steven adler they should be invited to participate in it ...

"It would be great if it was me, or Steve, or whoever was in charge of the drumsticks ... I wish we were both ... I don't care if Appetite For Destruction sounds better with Steve ... we would do the presentations together, with two drums”He continued.

He also talked about how bad the use of the name seems to him Guns 'n' Roses by Axl...

"Part of the heart of the band is Slash, Duff… and probably Izzy. Does Paul McCartney tour like the Beatles? Sting as The Police? It doesn't seem right to me", finished.
