The popular actor and director matt damond, has left the world of cinema, at least temporarily, to be able to dedicate more time to his children. This was announced after the many rumors about the refusal to direct the movie Promised Land.
Damon He has been working for all of 2012 and has confirmed that 2013 will be a year to stay at home close to his four children whom he has barely seen in recent months.
According to the actor's own statements to various media: “on December 15 I decided to stop directing, it is for the good of my children and my relationship with them. I want to be part of his life and be present for as long as possible ”.
This decision has been supported by his friend and also director Gus Van Sant, who has replaced him as director on the film he had planned for this year. So 2013 will be a year of stand-by for this actor, who has changed the camera, clapperboard, spotlights and others for diapers and toys, but surely the year passes very quickly and soon we will be able to see him working.
