The issue 'Do it for your lover' only got five points from the public vote

Among the most common criticisms that Eurovision has is the support that countries have for the representatives of neighboring countries in voting. Positive or negative, it is a fact that is repeated, and that seems to have diminished with the use of the vote of the jury to complement the vote of the public from their homes at the Eurovision Song Contest.
Manel Navarro had no vote from the professional jury in Eurovision 2017. However, with the votes received from the public, the Spanish representative got 5 points that left behind the panic that was produced by staying at 0 on the scoreboard.
A while after completion, it became known that the 5 points were awarded by the public of Portugal, by the telematic vote of the public. Neither the professionals, nor the jury, nor even the neighboring countries awarded a single point to Manel Navarro.
