«Lubna»: The new from Mónica Naranjo arrives in January

Mónica Naranjo

FINALLY! So, with capital letters, and it is that our beloved diva Mónica Naranjo He has taken his good time to present that album, which had already been talked about since the Pleistocene, 'Lubna', finally new material, which since 'Tarantula' has already rained down on us, nothing more and nothing less than almost eight years. The bad thing about all these years has not been the wait, but also the fact of seeing how her television facet has exploded ad nauseam, from talent show to talent show and with hardly any news of what we really care about her: her music.

Last month a first teaser of 'Lubna', in which a Monica Naranjo was seen wearing curves entering a church. Only a few chords of strings accompanied this sequence, so it could not be taken as a reference in what would be the intention of this new album. A few days ago the second teaser for 'Lubna' appeared, this time with Mónica at the most Sophia Loren feeding a child and, once, not letting any music or voice glimpse. The only thing that is clear is the incredible Fellini streak that the two teasers have, so Mónica Naranjo returns as we all expected her to return: brimming with drama.

The presentation single of 'Lubna' will be released very shortly, on December 4, and will be titled 'Never', as seen in the teasers posted on YouTube. After so many years of waiting, the excess of television, the revisits and the live shows, the expectations in 'Lubna' are not high, they are very high. We want more Mónica Naranjo, more of that exaggerated and unique drama that always surrounds her. In less than a month we will be able to discover what 'Never' will sound like.
