Contemporary the indie pop festival par excellence in our country will pay tribute to one of the fundamental groups of Spanish music of the 80s, Golpes Bajos.
The festival reaches its thirteenth edition and will take place in Albuquerque on July 25 and 26, and as it is already a brand of the house, it will pay tribute to the Galician group, as it has done on previous occasions with The Smiths, Carlos Berlanga, Family, El Boy Worm, Los Brincos, Los Flechazos or Surfin Bugs.
The organization will ask all the participating groups to perform a version of Low Strokes among unforgettable songs such as "Don't look into people's eyes", "Bad times for lyricism" "Hansel and Gretel", "I collect flies" or " Reheated dinner.
Also joining the tribute will be Germán Coppini, singer of Golpes Bajos, who together with the group Maga will review the repertoire that filled the group with glory in times of the movida.
Other groups that will be part of the Contempopránea 2008 lineup will be La Casa Azul, L-Kan, Denueve, Camera Obscura, Deluxe, Lori Meyers, Sidonie and Facto Delafé y las flores azul.
